You will gain knowledge of theology, church administration and worship leading while continuing to gain musical and theoretical technique and skills.
As a music and worship major or minor at Messiah University, you’ll be able to:
- Utilize Messiah's premier facilities for music students, including the Calvin and Janet High Center for Worship and Performing Arts
- Work in a local church as a student for your practicum requirement
- Study in a nationally accredited program
- Gain performance experience participating in one of the University’s vocal or instrumental ensembles

- Complete an internship at a church, record label or concert venue, or take a semester to study commercial music and music recording in Nashville at the Contemporary Music Center

- Lead worship at Powerhouse, a student-led weekly worship night held every Thursday in Hostetter Chapel
- Have access to the latest recording and sound technology in the Calvin and Janet High Center for Worship and Performing Arts
