Summer Conference and External Event Planning Guide

The mission of the Office of Conferences and Event Services is to promote Messiah College and meet the needs of the internal and external community by offering facilities and services to select organizations and associations for educational conferences, meetings, and workshops. We will make special efforts to schedule the use of our facilities for those who share our unique institutional, educational, and religious perspective. We strive to provide quality customer service and hospitality to the college community and to guests as well as prompt and well-organized conference, event and meeting planning services.

Messiah College is located on 400 acres of scenic rural countryside, in south central Pennsylvania, ten miles southwest of Harrisburg. It is easily accessible by air, train, bus, and automobile. It is within a 2 hour drive from large cities such as Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington D.C.

Summer Conferences

Messiah College Conference Services welcomes inquiries for use of our facilities for conferences.  We specialize in multi-day events requiring overnight lodging and meals.  The campus is the perfect location for church retreats, conferences and camps of a non-profit nature.  We can accommodate up to 1600 people. Come enjoy our air-conditioned lodging and meeting rooms.

External Events During Academic Year

Messiah College is in session late August through Mid-May.  Rental space is more limited, but there is still some availability.  Evenings and weekends are more open since classes are not in full session.  There are no overnight accommodations available during this time.
