Internal Conference and Event Planning

Our office is here to help you plan your events, meetings, camps and conferences.  The four event coordinators in our office have a combined 62 years of service to the college.  Let that experience be your resource for a successful event.  For large events, you will be assigned an event coordinator to work with you.  We will guide you through the policies, procedures and resources of the departments across campus who will help facilitate your event.  We will tell you what works and what doesn’t.  We will offer suggestions and guidance.

After rooms have been reserved and your event has gone through the approval process, the event coordinator will begin to work with you on creating an event description, commonly referred to as an ED.  An ED contains your schedule and all the information anyone on campus needs to know about or provide for your event.  This is your working document with our office to ensure a successful event.  Please review our Academic Year Event Planning Guide and our Internal Camp/Conference Guide for more details about processes and procedures.
