Connecting to the University's Wireless Network in Murray Library
Who: Wireless access to the campus network is available for current students and employees; that is, for all those with current network accounts. Access to the campus open wireless is available to community readers, alumni, or visitors. To gain access, guests need to sign in at the Library's main desk to receive a guest username and password for use within the building.
Where: In Murray Library, access to the wireless network is available throughout the building.
How to connect:
- Right-click on the wireless icon in the lower-right corner of your screen;
- Click "View Available Network";
- Select MC-WPA for secure, encrypted connection to Messiah network and network drives (e.g., "O" drive and "K" drive);select MC-OPEN for Internet only unencrypted connection. (MC-OPEN is the only option available to community readers, alumni, or visitors.)
Note: ITS strongly recommends connecting to the secure network (MC-WPA)
