GRANTHAM, Pa. (April 22, 2004) —The Messiah College Symphony Orchestra will perform their spring concert on Saturday, May 1, at 8 p.m. in Miller Auditorium, located in the Climenhaga Fine Arts Center on the college's Grantham campus. The concert is free and open to the public. For more information, call (717) 766-2511, extension 3310.

The Messiah College Symphony Orchestra is under the direction of Timothy Dixon. The orchestra will perform works such as "St. Paul's Suite," by Holst, the overture to "The Wasps," by Vaughn Williams, and "Symphony No. 9 in E-minor," by Antonin Dvorak.

Messiah College, a private Christian college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences, enrolls more than 2,900 undergraduate students in 60 majors. Established in 1909, the primary campus is located in Grantham, Pa., near the state capital of Harrisburg. A satellite campus affiliated with Temple University is located in Philadelphia.
