Messiah College announces summer art exhibit

GRANTHAM, Pa. (April 28, 2004) — Messiah College will present the 2003-2004 Student Art Exhibit, a display of students' best work, beginning Saturday, May 14, continuing through Saturday, Sept. 6. The Aughinbaugh Art Gallery, located on the lower level of Climenhaga Fine Arts Center on the college's Grantham campus, will house the exhibition. Admission is free and open to the public.

The exhibit will feature select new works, in a wide variety of techniques, by students in the college's studio arts program. The juror for the exhibit is Molly Smith, co-founder of Fathom Design Group in Harrisburg.
The gallery is open weekdays from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., with extended hours on Friday until 9 p.m., and from
2-5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. For more information, call (717) 766-2511, extension 2700.

Messiah College, a private Christian college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences, enrolls more than 2,900 undergraduate students in 60 majors. Established in 1909, the primary campus is located in Grantham, Pa., near the state capital of Harrisburg. A satellite campus affiliated with Temple University is located in Philadelphia.
