Phonathon

Meet the Callers

Each semester, a group of approximately 30 students gather in Old Main to call our alumni, parents, and friends in order to secure their support of the College. Please take a few minutes to read about our callers and say “hello” when they call.

Major: Studio Art

Career Goals: To do my best wherever God leads me, whether that be as a college art professor, independent artist, illustrator, gallery director, founder of an artist community…or something I haven’t even thought of yet!

Activities: Phonathon, Art League, Random Cool Stuff

I chose Messiah College because… of the Christ-centered education, the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) certified art program, and the study abroad opportunities.

Some of the most memorable experiences that I have had at Messiah… There is never just one thing, but I could say that my time studying abroad in Italy was collectively the most memorable, fun, inspirational, challenging, stretching four months of my college career.

I believe that giving to Messiah is important because … the students of today are the leaders of tomorrow. I believe that helping to provide a good, Christian education will determine the direction of our country in the future. Also, I wouldn’t be here if people didn’t give.

The most rewarding thing about being a phonathon caller is… I love hearing the positive, encouraging stories about people’s time here at messiah, but I especially love it when I am able to share things about my own life and the ways that God has provided for me, to encourage them.
