Emily Bingham, M.Div.

Director of Campus Ministries / Teaching Ministries Pastor

Emily Bingham has served with the Messiah University Campus Ministries team since 2021. As Director of Campus Ministries and Teaching Ministries Pastor, Emily oversees campus-wide spiritual formation opportunities, offers pastoral care for students, teaches in a variety of cocurricular settings, and works with the rest of Campus Ministries staff to plan and lead chapel services, and advises the Human Rights Awareness student organization. Emily loves preaching, podcasts, the Green Bay Packers, and road-tripping with her trusty doodle, Archie.

Douglas Curry, D.Min.

Worship Ministries Pastor

Dr. Curry serves as Worship Ministries Pastor and faculty member in the Department of Music, where he serves as professor and academic advisor to the Music and Worship degree program. Students mentored under Doug's tutelage bring leadership to chapel and other worship events on and off campus. He provides guidance, support, and oversight to the Worship Community, a co-curricular group of students committed to developing "skillful hands and integrity of heart," and connecting the arts and theology in contexts of private and corporate worship. Additionally, Dr. Curry is a faculty member at the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies, where he directs the internship course for all Master's level grad students.

Antonio D. Morton, Jr.

Discipleship Pastor

Antonio Morton began serving with Campus Ministries at Messiah University in December 2024. In his role as Discipleship Pastor, Antonio oversees Student Ministries, offering advising and mentoring to student leaders as they serve the greater student body at Messiah. Antonio also works with the rest of the Campus Ministries team in planning campus-wide chapels throughout the semester. Antonio cares about college students deeply, and he longs for them grow in their faith as they discover more of who Jesus is. Antonio is an avid bowler, a coffee fanatic, and he values precious family time with his wife and their son.

Administrative Assistant/Chapel Coordinator

Natalie joined the Campus Ministries team in December 2024. She comes from a diverse background of careers, including other administrative assistant roles in higher education. She serves as the administrative assistant/chapel coordinator for Campus Ministries at Messiah, which includes supporting the director and providing general support for the office. She also oversees the chapel attendance processes and other Campus Ministries special events. She is a passionate lover of Jesus and enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling, fitness, vanilla lattes, and all things interior design.

Ethan Kiggins, B.A.

Campus Ministries Graduate Assistant

Ethan Kiggins is a graduate student in Messiah’s Higher Education Leadership program, pursuing a Master of Arts in Higher Education with a concentration in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership. As the Graduate Assistant for Campus Ministries, Ethan mentors student leaders and assists with Student Ministries programs and special events. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management from Messiah in 2024. During Ethan's undergraduate experience, he was involved in Game Day Athletics with Messiah's Athletic Department as well numerous recreational teams on campus. Feel free to stop Ethan around campus, as he would love to get to know you. Bonus points to those who start talking sports!

Stephen Gallaher, D.Min.

Community Pastor for Employees

Rev. Dr. Stephen Gallaher lives in Mechanicsburg and serves as the Community Pastor for Employees at Messiah University. As an ordained clergyperson, Stephen has pastored local churches in Central Pennsylvania for more than 40 years. He currently serves as lead pastor at THRIVE, a new intergenerational faith community in New Cumberland, PA. Stephen recently retired from teaching after 21 years serving as Professor of Christian Ministries, Youth Ministry and Pastoral Leadership at Messiah. He taught youth ministry and practical theology at Evangelical Theological Seminary, the Russian Theological Seminary in Moscow, and for ten years at Wesley Theological Seminary. He is also the Founder/Executive Director Emeritus of Salt 'n Light Youth Ministry, Inc. He serves to equip adult and student leaders to reach and disciple youth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Stephen, along with his wife Anne, have three adult daughters and sons-in-law who have blessed them with six grandchildren. Stephen enjoys multiple outdoor pursuits and, along with his brothers, maintains the family farm.
