
Erin Kleingardner, M.S., BSN

Erin Kleingardner grew up in Rochester, NY and attended Roberts Wesleyan, completing her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. While there, she completed undergraduate research at Harvard University and the University of Rochester. She then began graduate work at the University of Rochester, completing research on multiheme proteins and biosynthetic microperoxidases. Upon completion of her master’s degree in Chemistry she continued studies at the University of Rochester, completing her BSN. She then moved to Ithaca, NY for two years and worked as an RN in long-term care. In 2015 she moved to Central Pennsylvania and began working as an adjunct in the Chemistry Department at Messiah.
Erin and her husband, Jesse, have three children and one much-loved goldendoodle. They enjoy camping, outdoor activities of all kinds, and cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles.
