Cyber Scholarships
The Messiah University Cybersecurity Education Program is pleased to participate in the DoD Cyber Service Academy (CSA), a scholarship program and capacity-building initiative that supports the education, recruitment, and retention of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students pursuing cybersecurity-related studies. CSA eligibility now includes undergraduate students at all class levels. One Messiah cybersecurity student was awarded the CSA scholarship in spring 2026, our third year in the program. We look forward to continuing to offer this opportunity to eligible students each fall.
The scholarship provides:
- Full tuition
- Required books and fees (including institutionally provided health care)
- A one-time laptop/computer purchase
- Travel support to attend a cyber-related conference.
- A stipend of $29,000 (undergraduate students) to cover room and board.
- Disabled students may receive additional allowances.
Scholarship requirements:
- Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.
- Applicants must be US citizens.
- Applicants who are awarded the scholarship must agree to work for the DoD as a civilian for one year for each year of scholarship received.
