Meet the faculty:
Daniel Droz
Dr. Daniel Droz came to Messiah University as Assistant Professor of Mathematics in fall 2025. He previously taught at several other area schools including Franklin & Marshall College, Gettysburg College, and Susquehanna University. His Ph.D. was awarded by Penn State University in 2016, and his research interests include combinatorial designs, finite fields, and the connections between math and music. He has many outside interests including musical performance and scholarship (piano, organ, oboe, handbells, composition, the works of Handel), Victorian literature, golf, and contract bridge. He is a native of Lancaster, PA, and lives there with his wife, Emma Danae.
