
Daniel A. Brownell

Daniel Brownell is a versatile professional musician who has literally done it all. He has spent nearly 20 years as a professional organist and church musician, and currently serves as Director of Music Ministries at First Presbyterian Church in downtown York, PA. At FPC, he leads the music ensemble program (choir, bell choir and contemporary band), leads the Abendmusik Concert Series, and guides all aspects of the music program and has technological responsibilities. He is an active organ recitalist, having most recently performed around York and Lancaster Counties, along with several concerts at FPC York. He is set to release his first solo organ album, “All Grounded” sometime later in Fall 2025.
He is also an avid composer and arranger, and has nearly 20 years of total teaching experience in various settings, including 10 years as a certified music educator in CT.
