Laura Bitterman, MSN, RN, CCRN

Laura Bitterman earned her BSN from Messiah College in 2004. After graduation she spent 20 years working in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. During this time, she was heavily involved in unit and hospital wide educational initiatives. These efforts were focused both clinical knowledge, promotion of interprofessional collaboration, effective communication, and learning through simulation. Laura then pursued her MSN from Aspen University, graduating in 2023. Additionally, she seeks to further her professional knowledge though maintenance of her certification in Critical Care and membership in the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys doing anything outside with her husband and three children. She is also always looking for opportunities to enjoy good coffee with good conversation.
