Commencement Speaker

Rebekah Burch Basinger, Ed.D. is a nationally recognized consultant, author, and educator in board governance and fundraising, known for her decades of leadership within higher education and faith‑based nonprofit settings. She is co‑author of Growing Givers’ Hearts, a widely regarded exploration of fundraising as ministry, and her articles on board development and institutional culture are frequently cited for their clarity and insight. Rebekah currently serves as project director for the In Trust Center for Theological School’s Wise Stewards Initiative, a grant-funded program aimed at strengthening the effectiveness of governing boards of graduate schools of theology in Canada and the United States.
