Messiah University’s master’s in nursing program, family nurse practitioner track is designed for BSN-prepared nurses who want to advance their careers in primary care as an advanced practice registered nurse. This flexible, faith-based program provides advanced clinical training and prepares you to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based, patient-centered care to individuals and families across the lifespan. For those who wish to pursue the DNP, this pathway supports long-term career growth with greater affordability and flexibility, either immediately after MSN FNP completion, or later in life.
The baccalaureate degree program in nursing, the master's degree program in nursing, and the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at Messiah University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).

With Messiah’s no-fee tuition, there are no additional university charges for labs, courses, services or technology. While some programs may involve additional expenses such as materials, travel or other external costs that vary by student, you won’t encounter unexpected fees from Messiah. This approach allows you to clearly understand and plan for the tuition portion of your graduate education.

No-fee tuition per graduate credit hour: $820
Tuition cost for the entire program at the 2026-2027 rate: $31,160 (38 credits) to $31,980 (39 credits)
MSN students are eligible to apply for federal financial aid. Tuition is subject to annual adjustment; historically, increases have averaged approximately 2-3% per year.
