Graduate Certificate - Teacher Leadership overview

The online graduate certificate in teacher leadership is for educators who wish to more effectively serve and influence their educational communities. Using coursework from the fields of education and strategic leadership, the program combines ethical frameworks with research and theory to help teachers thoughtfully influence policy and practices that best serve learners and their families. Students with Level I or Level II PA teaching certificates will be eligible for the PDE Skills for Teacher Leaders Endorsement upon completion.

No-fee tuition

With Messiah’s no-fee tuition, there are no additional university charges for labs, courses, services or technology. While some programs may involve additional expenses such as materials, travel or other external costs that vary by student, you won’t encounter unexpected fees from Messiah. This approach allows you to clearly understand and plan for the tuition portion of your graduate education.

Deferred billing

No-fee tuition per graduate credit hour: $820

Tuition cost for the entire program at the 2026-2027 rate: ranges from $24,600 (30 credits) to $63,960 (78 credits)

M.Ed. students are eligible to apply for federal financial aid. Tuition is subject to annual adjustment; historically, increases have averaged approximately 2-3% per year.
