Campus Ministries Graduate Assistant
Position Summary: The Office of Campus Ministries creates opportunities for students to engage in meaningful Christian worship, discipleship, and spiritual formation. The Campus Ministries Graduate Assistant supports the office's goals by equipping and mentoring student leaders engaged in peer-to-peer discipleship ministries, overseeing the Resident Chaplain program in conjunction with Residence Life, and collaborating with the campus pastors in planning and hosting chapel services and small group opportunities.
Education Required: Bachelor's degree required; current enrollment in one of the degrees within the graduate program in Higher Education Leadership at Messiah University.
Experience Required: Campus ministry, church ministry, or parachurch ministry leadership experiences required

- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Strong oral and written communication
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to work independently to finish assigned work in a timely manner
- Proficient administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to hold students accountable to their responsibilities
- Demonstrated commitment to continued learning/professional development
- Desire and ability to be a team player within the Office of Campus Ministries and Division of Student Success and Engagement and to build positive relationships with others across campus
- Christian faith commitment required
Special Working Conditions: Required to work weekends and evenings as needed
