Exercising Our Moral Leadership
Few things ruin reputations like major ethical missteps. In contrast, taking a strong moral stand establishes a person’s integrity and can inspire others to make the values-driven decisions our world increasingly needs.
In his roles as a corporate sales analyst for a national broadcasting company, an advertising firm partner, and a professor of marketing and business ethics courses, Dr. David Hagenbuch has strived to make moral choices and to encourage others to do the same. For over a decade, his innovative Mindful Marketing model and 320+ ethics articles have gained international recognition for positively impacting how individuals and organizations approach morality – strategies that he describes in his new book, Mindful Marketing: Business Ethics that Stick.
Besides leveraging the power of branding and a unique 2 x 2 decision matrix to encourage honorable choices, Dr. Hagenbuch believes personal stories of commitment to principles hold unique potential for inspiring ethical actions. His experiences with moral decision-making in business over a multifaceted career challenge others to identify their own ethics stories and to envision sharing them in their spheres of influence to encourage life-changing moral choices.
