The showing of "Warehoused" was a beautiful moment because many refugees from Dadaab came and watched the documentary with us. Their stories were touching, and powerful. The moment of positive interfaith relationship revealed to me my biases and helped me to work towards unlearning them. The documentary showed the conditions in this refugee camp, and the resilience of the refugees, and helped me gain an appreciation for them as people. There was no conflict or assumptions being made at this event, which was really powerful because it was counter-cultural, as most of the time Christians and Muslims are so against each other. I was happy to see something different than that, something better than that.
