Grades 6, 7, 8

CC2 provides educational science enrichment on a variety of topics in a fun learning environment. Members receive a membership card for free admission to The Oakes Museum of Natural History, a CC2 t-shirt, and a certificate bring a friend to CC2.

Fall 2025 Programming

 

Thursday October 23rd 6:00-8:00 PM

Intro to Dissection: Learn about the needed and complete a bullfrog dissection!

*This year we are only offering two CC2 programs, one in the fall and one in the spring. If your child is in 6th grade, we invite them to continue to attend Curator Club on Saturdays as well as the CC2 programs!

 Pre-registration and pre-payment is required as space is limited.

What to Bring

  • Labeled Water bottle (if needed)
  • No crocs or flipflops for water or hiking activities
  • Sunscreen (if needed)
  • Dress for the weather as we may be outside
  • Closed-toe shoes for the dissection class.

 

Curator Club Mission Statement

Fulfilling part of the Oakes Museum mission, the Curator Club is a multifaceted science enrichment program for community children, grades 3 to 8. The program provides scientifically-based, hands-on learning experience for the participants, challenging them to explore and question their world.
