Summer Camps

Grades 3, 4, 5
Curator Club provides educational science enrichment on a variety of topics in a fun learning environment. Curator Club members receive a membership card for free admission to The Oakes Museum of Natural History, a Curator Club t-shirt, and a certificate to bring a friend to a Curator Club.
Summer Camp
Curator Club summer camps run from 9-noon each day.
Before camp care will be available from 8-9:00 a.m. Games, puzzles and crafts will be provided with staff oversight. The cost for before camp is an additional $25/week.
June 16-20
Explore It Camp
Each day we will investigate a different topic, ranging from fossils to the sun to following a raindrop on its path across campus. Just us as we Explore It!
June 23-27 or July 21-25
Animals Camp
Using the museum and the surrounding natural world, each day campers will learn about a different animal group (invertebrates, fish, reptiles/amphibians, birds and mammals).
Price - $150/camper/week

- No crocs or flipflops for water or hiking activities

Curator Club Mission Statement
Fulfilling part of the Oakes Museum mission, the Curator Club is a multifaceted science enrichment program for community children, grades 3 to 8. The program provides scientifically-based, hands-on learning experience for the participants, challenging them to explore and question their world.
