I'm at Messiah because…

“The sense of peace on Messiah’s campus is palpable.” That's what I said when we visited Messiah on our daughter’s college road trip. You can imagine how happy we were that she chose Messiah! For the next four years, we were continually impressed with everyone to whom we spoke. From the faculty to the financial aid staff, the message was clear. Working here was more than just a job. So clear, in fact that even though we lived out of state, I kept tabs on Messiah’s job openings! Years later, we moved to Mechanicsburg to be closer to our daughter, and by the grace of God, I’m working here at Messiah — where I hope to make a difference for current and future students and families.

Development matters because…

Education and equity matter. Development removes financial barriers and creates resources so students can study and choose their path with less concern about the financial burden associated with college costs. I consider it a privilege to help provide access and affordability for all students of promise so they can choose to study and grow in Messiah’s academically excellent and Christ-centered environment.

These things are important to me:

Faith, family, friends, learning, and artistic pursuits.
