Dr. Johnson is interested in research and teaching in the areas of geriatrics, ethics in practice and student performance enhancement. Her focus in geriatrics is on maximizing function to allow older adults to enjoy a higher quality of life and control their circumstances as they age. Dr. Johnson's goal with students is to teach them to utilize their skills and talents to succeed in the classroom and in their chosen occupation.
