Apply to Become an RA

Instructions

If you're interested in applying to be an RA, please complete the steps below:

  1. Optional: Attend an RA Informational Night on Tuesday, November 4 at 9:30 p.m. or Wednesday, December 3 at 4:30 p.m. in Boyer 131. There will also be a Pop-Up Table on Tuesday, December 2. 
  2. Submit RA application and references by Sunday, January 20 at 11:59 p.m. .
    • It is important that you email the link to your references as soon as possible so that they may complete the reference form by the due date. You will receive an automated email when you submit the application. The email will have the link to the reference form.
  3. Two references are due by Monday, January 15 at 11:59 p.m.
    • A Messiah faculty member or employee
    • A coach, supervisor or mentor (cannot be a current RLE)
  4. Respond and check for updates on Carousel Nights and other helpful information on January 21.
  5. See email for interview up dates on January 23.
  6. Carousel Nights will be January 27 - 28 from 7-9pm. You are required to be at one of the carousel nights. 
  7. Individual Interviews will take place February 2 -17 by two RLEs

If you have a conflict with attending the Carousel Night evening you are assigned, please email Annastasia Bonczyk by noon on February 21.
