Earn your engineering degree at Messiah University

The ABET-accredited engineering programs at Messiah University prepare students to become innovative, ethical engineers who design solutions to serve the common good. With six distinct majors—including biomedical, civil, electrical, mechanical, robotics and general engineering—Messiah offers a comprehensive, hands-on engineering education taught from a Christian faith perspective. Our graduates are highly sought after by employers and graduate schools, equipped with real-world experience through our unique first-year design program and the nationally recognized Collaboratory for Strategic Partnerships and Applied Research.

Practical experience through The Collaboratory

Starting in your second year, you’ll apply your engineering knowledge to real-world projects that serve the needs of clients in Christian missions—both in Pennsylvania and around the world. Through the Integrated Projects Curriculum (IPC), a five-semester, credit-bearing partnership with The Collaboratory, you’ll gain hands-on experience solving authentic problems such as designing prosthetics, wheelchairs and other assistive technologies. By the time you graduate, you’ll have developed strong project management and technical application skills that prepare you for your first professional role. And if you’re eager to get involved sooner, you can volunteer with The Collaboratory during your first year.

Are you a high school student interested in exploring a career in engineering?
