Our Alumni
Regional and national employers seek out Messiah graduates for their academic preparation, work ethic and personal character. The transformation you experience at Messiah readies you to transform the lives of others through your chosen career path.
Practical experience
Like many business students, you may opt to participate in internships which turn work experiences into learning opportunities and make connections between classroom theory and the "real world." Internships with nonprofit organizations offer a special opportunity to serve the community. Often internships lead directly to full-time career employment.
Messiah's unique approach to hands-on learning
Learning in the classroom is important but actually applying that knowledge in a hands-on way can make all the difference. At Messiah University, the Experiential Learning Initiative (ELI) allows Messiah to take this hands-on learning to a new level by giving students the opportunity to apply what they have learned to various real world contexts--such as an internship/practica, service learning, off-campus program, holding a student leadership position, or participating in undergraduate research.
Hands-on learning experience
Join the Accounting or Marketing Club, where you can connect with peers and build professional relationships. Learn how to invest and earn profit through the Investment Club, a hands-on laboratory experience that creates an income stream providing funding for student organizations. You may even wish to travel to Europe, Asia and the Middle East with the International Business Institute!
Program accreditation
Messiah's business administration program has specialized accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
ACBSP is the premier accrediting body for colleges and universities that emphasize teaching excellence; 900 institutions around the world are accredited by ACBSP. This accreditation signifies the department’s commitment to a focus on mission and on continuous quality improvement. For students, parents, prospective employers and graduate schools, accreditation demonstrates that Messiah has met rigorous standards in curriculum, strategic planning, leadership, stakeholder focus and measurement of student learning.
