Speaker Bios
After graduating from The Johns Hopkins University Carey School of Business with an MS in Applied Behavioral Science, Amanda Coffey worked in Global Human Resources for Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. During her tenure at Merrill, Amanda managed College Recruiting and MBA Recruiting as well as Compensation, Training and Performance before assuming responsibilities as Vice President of HR for Merrill Lynch Asset Management.
Desires for more work/life balance, to work for the greater good, and to work in higher education brought Amanda to Messiah in 2005 where she currently serves the College as Director of Human Resources. Amanda lives in Camp Hill with her husband, David, and two sons, Lance and Evan.
Mark Hopkins graduated from Messiah in 1994 with a degree in Human Resources Management and holds his Master’s in Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations from Saint Francis University.
His 16 years of professional experience include time in both operations and Human Resources areas in the managed health care marketplace. He’s lost count of how many interviews he’s conducted and is convinced that it takes the right people and the right processes to sustain success as an organization.
He currently leads a team of highly motivated Human Resources professionals as a Regional Director for Coventry Health Care’s Eastern region of their centralized service operations.

Jennifer Mull serves as a Recruitment Specialist for Hershey Entertainment & Resorts. She began her career with HE&R in 2005 and over the years has held various roles in the Talent Acquisition Department. She is largely responsible for managing and executing specific projects and/or events that are recurring in the recruitment area, generates new recruitment techniques for staffing opportunities and leads recruitment efforts for all part-time, seasonal and internship positions.
Jennifer has been involved in various professional organizations over the years including the Capital Region-Partnership for Career Development, where she sat on the Advisory Council Committee as a business representative. The Partnership for Career Development is a community organization which connects businesses with schools and increases post-secondary education/training opportunities and serves local workforce development initiatives.
A graduate of Shippensburg University in 2005, Jennifer resides in Harrisburg.

Mike Blount is a career coach and internship coordinator with Messiah's Career and Internship Centers. Mike has over 10 years experience working in career management for students and alumni at Messiah College. Additionally, as an Internship Faculty Advisor, he equips students across disciplines in how to use LinkedIn and Twitter as a way to leverage their network and build internship connections for professional development. As a Certified Twitter Job Search Strategist and Career Coach in private practice, Mike uses social media to broaden perspectives of career clients and to supplement their traditional networking and career strategy formation. He has a M.A. in Counseling Psychology and B.A. in Human Resource Management.
