Anderson Field

During the summer of 2007 the artifical turf of Anderson Field will be replaced. The project will begin on May 20th and be completed by August 15th.

Update (August 27, 2007)

The installation of the new turf has begun.

Update (August 10, 2007)
Phase 1 of the Anderson field project which was removal of the old turf and e-layer, installation of new drainage system and final grading of stone was completed in mid July.

Phase 2 which is the installation of the new e-layer system was started two weeks ago and is scheduled to be completed by August 10.

Phase 3 which is the installation of the new turf was to start as soon as the e-layer was completed. However due to manufacture delay the turf will not be delivered until the week of August 13.

Original completion date was August 15th, when turf arrives it will take approximately 8 to 9 days to install. Athletics is working with the Field Hockey team to adjust the week of August 20th practice. 

    

Update (July 1, 2007)
All demo and removal of material has been completed. New drainage is in and area grades. The E-layer is scheduled for delivery on Friday 07/06 with installation starting on the 10th.
