Gerontology at Messiah College
The gerontology minor, designed for students in all majors, equips students with knowledge, skills and abilities that are invaluable when working with older adults. Students take classes in psychology, sociology and anthropology, and human development and family sciences to prepare to focus their area of study toward the population of older adults. A required practicum or internship gives students a head start on hands-on experience.
