Outlook: Changing the Default Address Book 
Note: ITS recommends that you use the Outlook address book (which is created automatically from information in your Contacts folder) instead of a Personal Address Book. The contacts will be located on the server and accessible from any Outlook client as well as Outlook Web App, whereas a Personal Address Book is only available from the hard drive of the computer on which you create it.
- From the Find group on the Home tab, select Address Book.
- In the Address Book window that appears, from the Tools menu, select Options... .
- Under "When opening the address book, show this address list first:", use the scroll-down menu to select the appropriate listing (i.e., Global Address Book, or Outlook Address Book).
- To save the changes, click OK.
- To close the Address Book, click the X in the top right corner.
