Outlook: How to Configure Outlook 2010 on Windows XP or Windows 7

Outlook 2010 is installed on all college-owned computers. The college cannot provide a copy of Outlook 2010 for personally-owned computers. Please use Outlook Web App to access email from home.

1. Launch Outlook 2010 (go to Start >> Programs >> Microsoft Office >> Outlook 2010).
   
   
2. You should be prompted to setup a New Email account. Fill in your name, email address, and password as prompted.
   
   
3. You will be prompted for your password several times.
   
   NOTE: If you are NOT prompted or you get a message saying "an encrypted connection is not available", or have any other problems, you will need cancel the process and manually configure your Outlook profile.
