How HDFS Helped to Prepare Her: “The cutting edge course work, drilling of APA standards, and expectations of writing and verbal communication skills at Messiah prepared me to excel in masters classes with greater ease than most classmates from top named secular schools; the integration of work and faith forged a foundation for deeper exploration, application, and purpose that made and still makes my work meaningful and worthwhile. Today I write programs, genograms, and lectures with skills birthed in Strategies, Dynamics, and Senior Seminar. I strategize with other professionals, work as a team, and assist clients in grappling with life’s largest trials from the understanding and humility I gained at Messiah.”
