Student Opportunities

I love the opportunities that are provided for us. We get to learn about something and then we get to actually try it out. Theories are great and all, but it means so much more when we actually get to try them out in real life to test those theories. -2016 Graduate

Faith Development

My time here at Messiah has been invaluable. My learning experience here is ingrained with faith in a way that teaches me to consider my career aspirations in light of the life of Jesus and the principles his life teaches. I know that, without the direction of my professors and their intentional efforts to foster faith in the classroom, I would not have developed into the person I am today. I am so thankful that my department has integrated these faith practices into learning because I now feel better equipped to go into the work force with the skills and assurance to boldly incorporate my faith into practice in appropriate and applicable ways. I am confident that this ability could not have been acquired in such a strong way at many other institutions.      Allison Schillinger (HDFS '20)
