Messiah University Assessment Policies and Assessment Documents

• Assessment of Student Learning Manual —This manual provides an overview of Messiah’s approach to the assessment of student learning, including policies and expectations of campus departments.

• Assessment Resources — The Assessment Resources are a collection of helpful information for writing learning objectives, assessing learning effectively, and sharing assessment results.

• Assessment Rubric — This is the tool Messiah uses to evaluate the quality of each major/program’s assessment efforts.

• Assessment Plan Template Undergraduate — Departments creating majors/programs use this template to record the department’s plan to assess learning in the major/program on an ongoing basis.
