  • Location: Hostetter Chapel
  • Time: 6:00pm - 7:30pm

Rondell Treviño, founder and president of The immigration Coalition (TiC), will speak about how Christians might develop a faithful, biblical perspective on immigration. He will also share from TiC’s experience providing clean drinking water and food for immigrants, migrants, and asylum-seekers along the US southern border and in Latin America, sharing practical ways to care for these vulnerable communities.

Immigration and related issues are often viewed as purely political matters, and our thinking about immigration is often shaped by political and cultural influences more than our Christian faith. There will be an opportunity to make a donation to support the work of TiC, and anyone who does so will receive a free HRA mug. The lecture will be followed by a Q&A time as well as a reception with refreshments to provide space to continue the conversation. Sponsored by Human Rights Awareness, a Messiah University student organization.
