Creative Prison Foods (Phi Alpha)

Learn from David Garlock, a criminal justice reform advocate, as he prepares food often made by incarcerated individuals while discussing topics related to food and economics in prison.

The event will feature David Garlock, a formerly incarcerated individual who has dedicated his life to God and become a criminal justice reform advocate. You might recognize him from the film "Just Mercy", as he was a client of Bryan Stevenson and appeared in the movie. During the event, he will discuss food insecurity, cost of items, and wages of incarcerated individuals while preparing food often made by incarcerated individuals. All are welcome to join!
