International Service Trips

The International Service and Missions Program seeks to involve students in cross-cultural service and ministry experiences during their summer break.  If you enjoy learning from other people, have a heart for service, and a desire to explore the integration of your faith and service into all of your life, we would like you to consider joining one of our International Service Trip teams!

We look for people who are:

  • Flexible
  • Eager to learn from others
  • Exhibiting a basic understanding of service
  • Willing to step outside of their comfort zones

The Agapé Center’s International Service Trip experience is designed to help you learn about yourself, your teammates and the culture and people of your host country.  Our hope is to provide students with an opportunity to broaden their perspectives of God and His work in the world.

The International Service Trips application process, personal interviews & team selections take place each fall.  Applications for Spring/Summer 2023 are closed. Stay tuned for more information on Spring/Summer 2024 applications!

Polish Christian Ministries, Płock, Poland

Polish Christian Ministries (PCM) is committed to making Jesus known in Poland and believes short-term teams play an important role in making that happen.  PCM has served the nation of Poland since 1954.  Today, PCM has over 44 Christian church partners and four para-church organizations.  PCM focuses on planting churches, providing resources, and promoting friendships.  PCM serves as a bridge between churches in Poland and churches in the States.

Students will be traveling to Płock, Poland where they will have an opportunity to share personal testimonies of faith, spend time with host families, teach English to youth (ages 14-18) in local high schools, and support initiatives of the local church.

In the Dominican Republic, students work alongside our longtime partnering organization, Food for the Hungry (FH) to assist in poverty reduction and relief efforts through education. Additionally, students will lead Vacation Bible School; participate in home visits within the community and support relational ministry opportunities through Food for the Hungry.

In Ecuador, students will be working with Living, Learning International and as well as a few other organizations. Participants will have the opportunity to volunteer in several ministries working with individuals who have experienced human trafficking, indigenous communities, and language learning classes.
