Looking for a new book to read?

Friends recently purchased a bookshelf for Murray Library, which houses the new books and recreational reading materials.  Located right inside the library's main entrance, come take a seat and enjoy a good book with a cup of coffee!

The Bridge to Freedom Children's Collection was established with the generous donation of children's books from Dr. Todd, Lonette, and Bryce Allen in the fall of 2021.  The collection provides educational resources for children centered on the Civil Rights Movement and other historical experiences with themes of equality, freedom, justice, and reconciliation.  
In 2022, Friends purchased four pieces of artwork from R. Michelson Galleries for the Bridge to Freedom Children's Collection room.
