Earth Day: Social Ecology, the Political Philosophy of Murray Bookchin (MU Progressives) – April 22nd, 2024
We will discuss the philosophy of Murray Bookchin primarily “social ecology”, which attempts to serve as an itinerary for addressing ecological crises through political action, namely grassroots, direct democratic action. This event is done in collaboration between the Progressives Club & Philosophy Club. The location for this event is Boyer 330.

God of Liberation: A Faith Perspective on Human Rights (HRA) – April 12th, 2024
Join HRA for "God of Liberation: A Faith Perspective on Human Rights", a panel-style discussion with esteemed guests Jonathan Kuttab, Rev. Dr. David Miller, and Dr. Drew Hart! We're meeting in Kline 120 at 6:00pm to dialogue about Black and Palestinian Liberation Theology. We hope to encourage interracial solidarity on matters of human right, based on a cross-cultural understanding the God is for the liberation and well-being of all God's people. There will also be food!
