Dwight W. Thomas was the Director of Christian Music and Ethnomusicology at Messiah College. He received his B.Mus from Messiah College in 1970. After a three-year stay in Japan and several years of music teaching in the public schools, he completed a Masters Degree in music composition from Indiana University at South Bend and a Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology from the University of Michigan. His areas of interest include the music of Christians around the world and composing/arranging music for use in Christian worship. Dr. Thomas is married and has one son.
