For this event, we will be discussing the topic of historicism vs presentism. While it might sound a little confusing, the topic is actually quite simple. Historicism, in it's simplest form, is looking at the past completely on its own terms. Presentism is applying the past to present day issues or comparisons. The discussion is open to all ages and majors!
