On Wednesday, February 2, Rev. Dr. David T. Miller, pastor of Wesley Union AME Zion Church, will speak on “The History and Legacy of the Black Church.” All are invited to attend this event sponsored by the Messiah University Honors Program. Wesley Union is the oldest African American church in Harrisburg, and Rev. Miller has served there as pastor since 2017. He earned his B.A. from Livingstone College, MDiv from Hood Theological Seminary, and DMin from United Theological Seminary. His favorite passage of scripture is Genesis 18:14 “Is there anything too hard for the LORD?” Please join us on Wednesday, February 2 at 4:30 p.m. in Boyer 131 to hear from Rev. Miller.
