Tree Planting On Campus (Sustainability)

This is a tree planting to replace valuable trees lost to environmental damage along the Yellow Breaches, on Cemetery Hill, and just beyond the Starry Athletic Field in our food forest. We are in need of volunteers to help us plant saplings, cover them with protective tree tubes, and stake them for stability.

The Office of Sustainability is focused on the impact of faith to restore balance to the land we are able to enjoy throughout the seasons. We are looking for community members that are ready to create change, and widen our community through working towards a common goal of restoring the valuable land we call home at Messiah University. This event is a tree re-planting for three separate locations on campus. We are in need of volunteers to help us plant saplings, cover them with protective tree tubes, and stake them for stability.
