Based on the current forecast, Messiah University's Undergraduate Commencement on Saturday, May 11, is scheduled to proceed outdoors as originally scheduled for 10 a.m. at Starry Athletic Fields; no tickets required. Baltimore Urban Studies (BUS) Program Field Trip

The Career & Professional Development Center is sponsoring a visit to the Baltimore Urban Studies (BUS) Program.

This special field trip will allow Messiah students to learn about urban internships and holistic health.

We especially encourage students interested in learning how you could complete a professional internship related to your major in Baltimore. This trip will also allow students to learn how you could earn a minor in public health through our partnership with BUS. Since 2020, BUS provided coursework and internships for Education, Social Work, Business/Econ, Social Science, Ministry, and Science majors. 

All majors are welcome, as BUS offers leadership, development, and professional internship opportunities with amazing organizations in the heart of Baltimore that would be great for many majors. 

 We will stop for dinner at Hunt Valley Town Centre on the way home for about 2.5 hours. Please check out https://www.shophuntvalley.com/ for dining options.
