Based on the current forecast, Messiah University's Undergraduate Commencement on Saturday, May 11, is scheduled to proceed outdoors as originally scheduled for 10 a.m. at Starry Athletic Fields; no tickets required. Join us for conversation on the science of Climate Change! Dr. Richard Alley is the Evan Pugh Professor of Geoscience at Penn State University. He is a respected and revered scholar of glaciology where has made a significant contribution to climate change research. He has over 240 scientific publications and has contributed to research for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). In 1999, 2003, 2007, and 2010 Dr. Alley testified before the US Senate and/or the US House of Representatives on climate change.
