You’re accepted to Messiah University!

We are excited to offer you a spot in our incoming class, and look forward to welcoming you to the Messiah community! Keep the momentum going by completing the steps below.

Use your login email address and password that you used for your application.

Watch this page for future updates regarding possible scholarship invites and to register for an Accepted Student Preview Day or other programming exclusively designed with accepted students in mind.

When you are ready, log in to your admissions status page, respond to the "Reply to Offer of Admission" form to let us know what you are thinking. If you have questions, we want to answer them for you!

myMU is the accepted student portal where you will find access to email, financial aid information, the housing contract, online health forms, course registration and orientation information. Please feel free to activate and log in after Sept. 15.

In your acceptance packet, you received your student ID and instructions for activating your myMU account via your admissions status page. Contact the admissions office at 717-691-6000 (or 800-233-4220) with any issues during this process.

We encourage you to submit your FAFSA as soon as possible after Oct. 1. Financial aid packages will be available beginning early December for students starting in the fall. Our preferred priority date for filing the FAFSA is April 1, but you can submit after that. International students, please visit this page for details regarding your financial aid.

Submit your deposit via There are a couple options there, but our preferred method is through your admissions status page. You must mark "planning to enroll" or "leaning towards enrolling" to be able to see the deposit link on the admissions status page.

Our preferred deposit date is prior to June 1, but you can deposit throughout the summer. Housing assignments are based on the deposit receipt date. 

You’re in! Now that you have been offered admission, we’d love to help you explore the Messiah community and become more familiar with the place that you will call home during your college years.

Our new virtual visit options are designed to provide resources to students and their families as they consider the next steps for joining the Messiah community – all from the comfort of home.

These options include

  • virtual Q&A sessions for accepted students and parents
  • Zoom meetings with admissions counselors
  • virtual campus tours and
  • the option to connect on a more individual level with a faculty member, coach or current student.

Though our community is working remotely, our phone lines are open and emails available.  Our staff is available to answer any questions you may have regarding next steps.

Submit housing contract and preferences via myMU (formerly MyMC), which opens in early March. The deposit must be submitted prior to completing the contract.

Commuters must also complete the housing contract.



Register for courses via myMU (formerly MyMC) starting in June. The deposit must be submitted prior to course registration.
