Established by Cecil Rhodes in 1903, Rhodes Scholarships bring together outstanding students from around the world for a one-, two- or three-year period of study at Oxford University. There are 32 scholarships given each year to U.S. citizens, available to students in any academic field. To be eligible you must be a United States citizen, between the ages of 18 and 24 by October 1 of the year of application, and have a Bachelor’s degree before commencing study at Oxford. Recipients of a Rhodes Scholarship receive full tuition plus stipend at Oxford University.
