They are seeking students for internships and part time summer positions to work with clients and assist with personal care needs in their residential group homes as well as activities out in the community. This is a great opportunity for students in social work, pre-med, nursing, education, or anyone who just likes helping others! There are a range of care needs from individuals who are high functioning and might just need help with transportation or medications, to individuals who use a wheelchair and need help with all of their daily needs.

Career Advice from the Class of 2008

In 2008 the United States experienced the worst economic disaster since the Great Depression of 1929. The resulting financial recession caused unemployment to soar above 9%. Messiah College alumni from the class of 2008 will offer advice and wisdom on what it is like to graduate in a time of economic crisis. Students will be able to ask questions of the panelists and hear their thoughts on career planning and thriving during job market instability.
