Experiential Learning

The Experiential Learning (EL) Team supports the mission of the Division of Student Success and Engagement through facilitating high impact opportunities in the areas of leadership development, service learning, off-campus study, internships and career preparation. Departments and programs that make up the EL team include: the Agape Center for Local and Global Engagement, the Career and Professional Development Center, the Office of Student Engagement, and the Student Leadership Institute.

Common themes for areas represented on the EL Team:

  • Support and participate in the Experiential Learning Initiative (ELI), a graduation requirement for all undergraduate students.
  • Develop and manage external relationships with employers, community-based organizations, and off-campus program partners.
  • Partner with faculty to achieve student learning outcomes through classroom integration.
