The Bridge Center for Continuing Education at Messiah University

The current job market favors individuals who are people of high competency and high character.

Those who have mastered sought-after, cutting-edge technical skills and who exhibit emotional intelligence, integrity, team work and problem solving will be well-positioned to help us overcome our current challenges and to lead us as we face the unknown. To lead now and into the future, workers will need to continue to master existing skills, learn new skills and acquire new knowledge throughout their careers.

The Bridge Center coordinates programming designed to meet the needs of adult learners and partners in central Pennsylvania and beyond, including:

  • customized workforce development
  • continuing education
  • reskilling and upskilling programming

When applicable, offerings will be linked to continuing education units and professional licensure standards. The delivery methods vary and may include face to face, online, webinars, hybrid, one-time, or weekend formats. If your organization is interested in exploring creating a partnership to meet your specific needs, contact us at The Bridge Center for Continuing Education.

Just as the iconic covered bridge at Messiah University connects the two areas of campus, The Bridge Center for Continuing Education is a connector between Messiah University and the rest of society, and between current and future needs and trends.

Our Mission

The Bridge Center for Continuing Education delivers customized workforce development, continuing education and reskilling and upskilling programming that meets the needs of strategic partners and adult learners in central Pennsylvania and beyond.
